Even if you disagree, you could still learn loads.

The reasons we connect with other people are many – I hope some of those reasons would include:

1. Likeminded – birds of a feather and all that
2. Not likeminded – hearing the other side of the story is always good
3. You are in a position to enable the individual
4. There is a mutual benefit between the two of you – a win win situation
5. You’re a student – you want to learn
6. They’re cute… what? Don’t tell me this doesn’t factor in

RTing your own compliments! cool or not cool?

I have a serious question. I’m hoping to be enlightened. I need to know what is up with RTing your own compliments. I see it regularly in the twitterverse from the big and the not-so-big alike.

Here’s my thoughts on this:

1. It is not ok for you to tell people that you are awesome, talented and a great person.

2. It is perfectly ok for me to tell people that you are awesome, talented and a great person.
