Paying for Customer Service with a credit card?

I initially wanted to title this post – Does Microsoft Hate Small Biz? I decided against it but still feel the question needs to be asked.

Pop quiz hotshot – You purchase a laptop operating with Vista and of course comes complete with Microsoft software…. you run into technical difficulties with the software and reach out to Microsoft for customer support and guess what?  – you get 15 minutes free support but then are forced to pay $14.99 for Customer Service to continue fixing the problem? What do you do?

Am I missing something here?

Microsoft doesn’t hate small biz, just people in general. Apple loves people, creativity, and big dreams.
